Located on Broadway at 50th on the edge of the Times Square entertainment district, Paramount Plaza had been a dark, uninviting public plaza, which served as the entry into the 48-story office tower. Street level and lower level retail spaces were difficult to lease even with the busy subway access located in the lower plaza. Energizing this urban space used a combination of environmental graphics and architectural improvements to bridge the gap between the corporate offices, retail podium and the entertainment components. Now 100% leased, Paramount Plaza has become a photo-op for tourists.
