Widely recognized as one of the world’s classic and traditional thoroughbred racing facilities, Keeneland is set amidst the rolling hills of the great Bluegrass horse farms of Kentucky. Refined wayfinding and signage were needed for the diverse user group that ranges from local patrons, to the Horseman and even the Queen of England. Over 2000 signs comprise this wayfinding signage system throughout the 80-acre facility. Historical displays, retail kiosks and signage for the Keeneland Equine Library were also designed and implemented. The core objective of Keeneland had been met, to maintain the rich cultural heritage and tradition of this National Historic Landmark.
